What is more fun than a Disco Ice Cream Social?
Lauren, at CreatifDesigns4You, helped me create the Invitations. If you need Invites or other graphic design work, she is the best and super fun to work with.
For decorations I used an assortment of tissue paper honeycomb balls in pink, mint and white.
I also filled a large glass bowl with disco balls.
Lauren also created this cute discotheque sign for us.
I know most kids (including my own) have no idea what a record player is. It is very nostalgic and fun to show kiddos how we used to groove. You can find turn tables at flea markets, on Etsy or even Amazon. We discoed down with KC and the Sunshine Band. Staying Alive is always fun too.
For a cute way to serve popcorn dip waffle cones in melted Wilton White Candy Melts and roll them in sprinkles. Then placed them in a bowl full of pastel gum balls (which helps to hold them up).
Pillsbury’s Funfetti Cupcakes with Strawberry Buttercream Frosting are easy to make. Just top each with a mini disco ball and they are sure to be a hit.
For the cupcake plates I turned regular black paper plates into records.
And for drinks try Ocean Spray Mocktail. It comes in a variety of flavors. We had Cranberry Peach Bellini. It is so good!
And finally my daughter and I made No Churn Disco Ball Ice Cream. It is so easy to make and tastes delicious. The recipe is provided at the bottom of this post.
My daughter and I thought it would be fun to glam up our shoes. All you need is a glue gun and some little disco balls and pom poms.
Now grab your dancing shoes and get ready to follow the call of the disco ball.
To send your guests off with a little favor, drop little succulents into disco tumblers.
