We are Irish so my little Leprechaun and I thought we would have a wee bit of fun by throwing a St. Patrick’s Day Party.
For decorations I used lots of tissue paper pom poms in green, white and orange. I also had some Irish Flags which I incorporated into the décor and a shamrock garland which I made by using a stamp on burlap pendants.
The little leprechauns enjoyed eating shamrock cheese quesadillas, green bagel pizzas, green apples and petite carrots.
For drinks I used glass milk jars filled with Ice’s Kiwi Juice and orange and white straws.
I set up a dessert table with a basic green table runner. I used my favorite sugar cookie recipe to create frosted shamrock cookies.
Because I have a huge sweet tooth I also make little chocolate cupcakes with leprechaun toppers and a vanilla cake covered in buttercream frosting and lucky charms.
For the activity the girls went on a leprechaun hunt for their little pots of gold! I created a set of clues which they worked together on in order to find the next clue.
I used little pots of gold that I attached a shamrock to and filled them with gold chocolate coins. I also filled little bottles with rainbow Skittles candies.
Afterward the girls settled in to watch a movie called A Very Unlucky Leprechaun. For the movie munchies, each girl had her own popcorn snack.
To bid the leprechauns farewell we sent the off with a green and white favor bag filled with Lucky Charms Chapstick, rainbow pencils, a rainbow friendship bracelet and a small green rainbow notebook.
Erin go Bragh!
