We have had the most amazing summer in Seattle but alas it is time to say goodbye to summer and hello school. We are fortunate to live near Greenlake in Seattle and I thought it would be fun to throw a little Breakfast Flamingle to celebrate.
I love my crate tables. They make parties easy and the girls love to sit on the nice grass.
I decorated the tables with palm leaves and place cards were made by scrabble tiles.
Because I love flowers I put some pink and white flowers from our local Farmers Market in white hobnail glasses.
I also spray painted some pineapples pink and white and used them as table centerpieces.
Lauren, at CreatifDesigns4You, created this cute sign which I attached to a frame painted pink and backed with chicken wire.
For breakfast I served homemade waffles with individual syrup bottles.
I also had a selection of cereal in half gallon penny candy jars with metal scoops.
And served fresh fruit in flamingo boxes for the girls and compote bowls for the adults.
And finally we had a tray of Mighty O Donuts with a Flamingo topper.
For beverages I had two types of juice. Flamingo Fizz and Pineapple Sangria (non-alcoholic).
To send the girls off, each girl had a bag from Lands End filled with a pineapple folder, pencil sharpener, personalized notepad with pink 3rd Grade Rocks Pencils and pencil bag by Catseye London.
It was so much fun to spend time with friends flamingling on the last Summer weekend.
