If you don’t want to throw a big 4th of July Party you can still celebrate with a picnic. I loaded a picnic basket with all the things we needed to celebrate.
I used an antique table linen as a blanket to sit on. I found mine at the Farm Chick’s Festival in Spokane, Washington.
A small workman’s bench which was painted red was perfect to hold our cheese board.
A pouf from Cost Plus World Market served as a little table to set our tray of wine.
I found a little red, white and blue vase at Target which I filled with white carnations. I also made napkins out of red striped fabric and used a navy star ribbon as the napkin ring with silver USA stamped tags.
I used a small silver ice bucket I found at Farm Chicks festival to keep our Moscato Wine chilled. Check our your local antique stores and you will be amazed at the treasures you can find.
We had our own little sparklers by Sparklettes by Tops Malibu.
And when it is time for fireworks lay back and enjoy the show!
Happy 4th of July!
